临安区位于浙江省杭州市西部，是浙江高质量发展建设共同富裕示范区第二批试点地区之一。2022年，临安以青山湖科技城为主引擎，实施产业强区“六大行动”，预计实现规上工业增加值252亿元、增长5.5%，其中全区实现高新技术产业增加值212亿元、增长9%。

Lin'an district in western Hangzhou, Zhejiang province is a pilot area for Zhejiang’s high-quality development and construction of a common prosperity demonstration zone.

Due to the extensive measures that the district implemented last year to boost the development of its industries, the added value of industrial enterprises above a designated scale in Lin'an is expected to reach 25.2 billion yuan ($3.73 billion) in 2022, up 5.5 percent year-on-year.

The figure for the high-tech industry is expected to hit 21.2 billion yuan, an increase of 9 percent compared to 2021.

2022年12月30日召开的区委一届四次全会指出，新的一年，临安将以“坚定产业强区，奋力实干争先”作为工作主基调。临安全年工作将紧紧围绕“产业”二字展开，力争以产业再度“出圈”。

At a plenary meeting of the district's CPC committee on Dec 30, officials asserted that Lin'an will continue to focus on bringing its industries to new heights in 2023.

在“产业强区”的战略引导下，临安大力培育高端装备、生命健康、集成电路、新能源、新材料五大战略性新兴产业以及电线电缆、复合装饰材料和光电三大特色优势产业。

Lin'an has been focusing its efforts on five strategic emerging industries – high-end equipment, life sciences, integrated circuits, new energy, and new materials – as well as its three leading industries – electric cables, decorative composite materials, and photovoltaics.

各大产业不断壮大、多点开花，尤其是作为临安重点发展产业之一的生物医药与健康产业，表现优异。站在生命健康产业发展的风口，致力于铸就“幸福”之地的临安抢抓机遇，加快招引和搭建一批生命健康领域的企业和平台，打造一流的生命健康产业集群。

For example, the district has been actively attracting and building companies and platforms related to biomedicine and healthcare to form a first-class industrial cluster.

作为临安大健康产城融合发展平台，天目医药港已形成了以省人民医院临安分院、太保家园·国际颐养社区、杭州医学院、华东医药、大冢制药等为代表的“医养研产”一体化发展的格局，成为临安承接生物医药产业发展的主平台。

The Tianmu Medical Harbour, one of the healthcare platforms, is already home to a wide range of industry players, including a branch of the Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital, a campus of Hangzhou Medical College, a subsidiary of Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co, and an elderly care community.

围绕大健康产业，临安出台了一系列包括资金补贴和惠企政策在内的扶持措施，地方管委会也分派专员为企业提供人性化服务。这些都如丝丝细雨，滋养着企业发展的根茎。

Lin'an has introduced a series of favorable policies and offered subsidies to aid the growth of its healthcare companies. Local administration committees have also sent staff members to companies to provide bespoke services.

“经过近20年的成长发展，我们在技术研发、产能和产值等方面得到迅猛提升，这离不开青山湖科技城对企业的全方位支持。”位于青山湖科技城的艾力康医药科技公司相关负责人表示，在去年夏季用电紧张的情况下，考虑到医疗器械生产的特殊性，青山湖科技城专门为企业优化了供电保障。

A director at Alicon Pharm Science and Technology Co, which is located in the Qingshanhu Sci-tech City, said the 20-year-old company has experienced rapid development in terms of R&D, output and production capacity due to the local administration's support. For example, the sci-tech city had ensured a stable power supply for the company last summer when there was a power shortage.

瞄准“5+3”产业集群，临安不断完善创新链产业链布局，完善配套体系，加大项目招引力度。

Lin'an has also been improving its industrial chains and supporting systems to attract more projects.

“马上，给我们做精密零部件配套的昆山硕东工业部件（有限公司）也将入驻青山湖科技城LinkPark产业社区，它的到来，将进一步提升我们临安的精密仪器产业生态。”杭州谱育科技发展有限公司（以下简称“谱育科技”）的总经理助理梅华灯说，这是他们引进的第十家精密仪器产业链企业。

Mei Huadeng, assistant to the general manager at Hangzhou Expec Technology Co, said the company's precision part supplier, Kunshan Shuodong Industrial Parts Co, will soon start a business in the Qingshanhu Sci-tech City where Expec Technology is located. This is the 10th company that Expec has attracted to the sci-tech city.

2022年，谱育科技成功申报国家重点研发项目。作为国内质谱仪器的龙头企业，它以“链主”感召力，吸引着一批上下游项目团队、工程师追随入驻LinkPark产业社区，合力开展一批国家重大科技专项技术攻关。

A leading mass spectrometer manufacturer in China, Expec has attracted many teams and engineers in the sector to settle in the Qingshanhu Sci-tech City.

除生物医药、制造业等先进产业外，临安还有广袤的乡村，农业发展已驶上快车道。2022年，临安农业增加值预计增长2.5%，农村居民人均可支配收入达4万元。临安培育出农产品区域公用品牌——“天目山宝”，在全国率先探索创新乡村运营方式，努力让绿水青山转化为金山银山。

The agricultural sector in Lin'an has also been developing rapidly. In 2022, its agricultural added value is expected to grow by 2.5 percent year-on-year, and the per capita disposable income of its rural residents is expected to reach 40,000 yuan.

The district's local agricultural produce brand Tianmushanbao, which means "treasure of the Tianmu Mountain", represents an innovative way that Lin’an has adopted to develop rural economy.

一边做好稳进提质，一边拓展“两山”转换通道，在城市、乡村两轮驱动之下，临安将站在现代化更高起点，让吴越名城再续辉煌。

Boosted by industrial progress in both urban and rural areas, Lin'an will continue to prosper in the years to come.
